Paul is a Shareholder in the Financial Institution Advisory Group at Saltmarsh, Cleaveland & Gund and has over 25 years of public accounting and senior management experience, primarily serving the financial institution industry. Prior to joining Saltmarsh, he worked with an international accounting firm and served in various senior management roles with several financial institutions, including as Chief Financial Officer.

Paul has extensive experience advising clients on accounting and financial reporting matters, enterprise risk management, asset liability management, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic planning. He has served on several public and private boards.

Lee serves as the president of Saltmarsh, Cleaveland & Gund and is responsible for promoting the strategic plan of the firm. Additionally, he plays integral roles in firm practices serving highly regulated industries, including financial institutions.

Lee began his public accounting career in 1991 with an international firm, joining Saltmarsh in 2001. He has experience in consulting and compliance matters (particularly with financial institutions), private equity matters, mergers and acquisitions, business valuation and litigation support. Lee also actively serves a number of accounting and assurance clients of the firm.

Bill is a shareholder at Saltmarsh, Cleaveland & Gund where he leads the firm’s Audit and Assurance Services practice. He is an experienced auditor and has served a range of clients with their accounting, tax and advisory needs since joining Saltmarsh in 1990. Bill’s specialized audit experience includes working closely with financial institutions, manufacturers, non-profit organizations and employee benefit plans. Before leading the audit practice at Saltmarsh, he led the firm’s growing Financial Institution Advisory Group for 11 years.

Stephen is a Shareholder in the Information Technology Services Department of Saltmarsh, Cleaveland & Gund. Stephen joined the firm in 1997 and has been practicing in this field since 1990. His experience includes computer networking and technology consulting. Stephen is a Certified Information Systems Auditor, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and a Cisco Certified Network Associate. He also holds certifications with ISACA, Novell, Citrix and CompTIA. Stephen has assisted numerous financial institutions with MIS compliance audits, security audits, as well as system selection, implementation and conversion.

Kristen is a shareholder and leader of the Financial Institution Consulting practice of Saltmarsh, Cleaveland & Gund. She has more than 25 years of experience as a trusted advisor on legal, operational and compliance concerns facing the industry. Kristen and the dedicated team provide internal audits, compliance reviews and other consulting services that help the firm’s bank, credit union and fintech clients operate safely and soundly, and in compliance with the many regulatory requirements.

Kristen also provides one-on-one mentoring and customized training, and she facilitates various user groups (AML monitoring systems, loan origination systems, fraud/AML, Trust Control Council). She is also often requested to speak at compliance, BSA/AML, state and Financial Institution industry associations.

Josh is a shareholder in the firm’s Financial Institution Advisory Group of Saltmarsh, Cleaveland & Gund. He has been with Saltmarsh since 2010 and has focused extensively on serving banks and credit unions. Josh primarily focuses on providing internal audit and loan review services to the firm’s financial institution clients. He also consults with financial institution clients on accounting and financial reporting issues, operation issues, mergers and acquisitions and strategic planning.
